Iron Man Race
Although you might watch this and laugh, I did, its hilarious, it also has a story of determination when all seems lost and you have nothing left to give, life will always want that bit more from you. These two ladies gave it their all, it doesn't even become about winning or losing, if you finish, your a winner, whether your being dragged across that line or not.

A Life

A Life is a clothing line from America, the clothes are quite basic and just prints on shirts although I do like their sneaks, definatley a company I would want to get in touch with. Any who, its their website I'm looking at, very simplistic but extremely effective, big picture of the product you've clicked, other products on display, price is clear, information about the tee is available, sizes and a bright red 'buy now'. This website has been made so basic with no distractions that people who arn't familliar with the internet or internet purchasing will understand. I would make my website in a reflection of this one with afew adjustments.
Grind Time Presents
They are pushing albums for these artists who are performing and promoting clothing lines such as IMKING who advertise along with 9FIVE Eyewear.
Concieted The small guy with the chris rock sounding voice is one of my favourite in the league.
Battling a guy called Illmaculate he breaks down the sylabols of his name, Ill and Mac to use against him "Once I let all the Guns and the Clips Blow, It'll be the first time you'll see a Mac running through Windows" The crowd goes wild. I could spend forever watching these battles, I think the quick wit and funny lines along with perfect execution win over the battles.
It might not be your thing but take a look anyway, it won't hurt.
Unfortunatly blogspot wont load this video, i will keep trying though.

Rags To Riches
The thing about most rich men who have made it big from nothing is that you wouldn’t have heard them singing, ‘If I were a rich man’ while they were on the road to success. Most rags to riches stories are all about having very clear goals and working hard to achieve them. If they did dream wonderful dreams like this, they also made a roadmap as to how to get to the place where all these material dreams were made possible. Take a look at all the successful entrepreneurs you know of and you’ll find that they were very single-minded in their pursuit of wealth.
Every rags to riches entrepreneur shares many common traits with others like him. One of them is to think and believe beyond his present circumstances. Just because he is born in a particular kind of family or situation or circumstance is no barrier to the world being open to him. He does not let the limitations of birth or circumstances deter him from seeking and conquering new pastures. These entrepreneur traits are present across the board for all who belong to this select circle.
Yet another trait is thinking outside the box – any problem should be an opportunity in disguise. It takes grit and determination to succeed and these people have plenty of that to keep them going.

Giggs aka Hollowman
My favourite rap artist, with deep slanguage used in his unique slow style, making versatile songs for the ladies and gents alike, talking of his painful past and gang related topics complimenting his raw outlook on life. After a long struggle he was finally signed by XL Records dispite the police ringing around labels telling them not to sign him, music channels wouldn't play his tunes and radio stations refused his music, yet he still managed to get on tens of thousands of ipods, this is a real inspiration of what hard work can do. The attention the police give 'Hollowman Giggs' real name Nathan Thompson was making him more popular to his listeners and gave Giggs more ammunition on tracks he would then write and the people wanted to know, if police are shutting down shows of a music artist, closing off roads and having an over the top presence at all his shows, people want to know why, am I wrong? It seems the police see a problem in this man, when all he sees is a force stopping him from making music.
Here are afew of Giggs videos found on youtube. support the man, album entitled 'Let em have it' out now on itunes.
Why You Hating show Giggs talking about his troubles with the police, what is on his mind and his ideas for moving forward in music. He has mastered slow rap and has the streets listening. Visit his myspace at www.myspace.com/trapstargiggs for music, tour dates and merchandice.

B0130

http://www.bo130.org/
B0130 is a key figure in the street art scene, particularly in his native Italy, but his ephemeral street art campaigns posters, stickers and murals can be found in many cities around the world.
I like knowing who influences the artists who influence me, B0130 is influenced by Mode2, Robert Rauschenberg, Keith Haring and Andy Goldworthy. I will look into these, take notes of style and audience aswell as mediums used.
He says "I use sketches to gather ideas or to describe things but mostly to relieve stress, I feel particularly good when I draw freely with a biro on a white piece of paper!", "When I work on canvases or walls, after very quick loose sketches, I start to lay down the first lines and shapes. I then go on putting down different layers of drawings, colours, a line etc. Until a little voice in my head says "Thats It!"'
Really admire this character making street artist who has stayed true to his work, I would like to hope i could follow in this mans footsteps.
