British artist David Earl Dixon lives in colchester, where he runs a skateboard company and works as a reelance artist and illustrator. Curious characters, fantasy worlds, and the interactions between humans and animals permeate his artworks. He also brings his world of characters to the street. "Sketching helps exercise the demons!" he says. "No the truth it's just a good space to let ideas flow as freely as possible. In fact most of the time it's the stuff that to me looks the best. It has that creative spontaneity, that unsure yet somehow confidant set of strokes or lines, which is often impossible to recreate, or pursue. Its a momentary thing... the first furtive ramblings of ideas and thoughts."
