Double Negative

Have a look at their projects list to see their achievements.

When the University went to London on a visit we had a choice of studios to visit, I chose the studio Double Negative who focus on making CGI for blockbuster films such as Iron Man, The Dark Knight and more recently Inception. The studio reel blew me away and our tour guide known as Vic was very outgoing and informative answering all our questions and showing us around the studio. What I took away from this visit was, make friends within the industry, play your cards close to your chest because the competition is always competing and always show determination, passion and be able to take direction. You start at the bottom but with hard work you will get your chance at this studio and thats a breath of fresh air.

We were told also about a future film coming out that will be visually bigger and better than Avatar which itself was beautiful to watch but i can't say its title as we were forced to sign contracts but I'm excited all the same.

I learnt a lot about what processes a film goes through to get to look so real, whole city scapes can take months to look right but there is a huge number of staff all working together, having a nosey in all the different rooms was very exciting.
